BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Daimler AG said its sales of Mercedes-Benz cars in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau rose 40 pct year-on-year in the first quarter of this year to 9,626 units.
In the Northeast Asia region, which includes the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Korea, Daimler sold a total of 12,461 passenger cars in the quarter, representing a year-on-year increase of 32 pct. Daimler sells passenger cars and commercial vehicles in Northeast Asia under the Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, Maybach and Smart brands.
