I love the new 5-series, but after seeing these pics again…I couldn't decide. Both are so damn beautiful…

I saw the E class today..several of them at my dealer..
And i must say..its a ****** ROCK..
So solid..such a great handsome looking car..
Looks like a solid block of granite..

A REAL Mercedes-Benz..:)

Man, I have to agree with you... I finally saw the E-Class at the Auto show and It`s as solid as a rock! top quality interior. I`ve noticed MB is still using the same door latch design, door mounted seat switches and turn signal switchs thay`ve been using for the past 30 years now.

The doors still close with that chamber like thunk which has not changed.
The new E-Class is amazing!

The E is starting to grow on me also. I suspect come facelift time I will finally accept it. It looks so large from the rear, like the size of the W126 S-Class.

I hope these things never change. They work and the door controls in particular was one of most copied designs ever, in anything. Its simple, yet brilliant - how Mercedes used to do everything.

I`m glad you are starting to warm up to the design.. I like the new E a lot!
It sit pretty low and wide in the metal.

This brown color is really hot! I wish it were available in the US!

Iv`e also noticed something I didn`t like on the 2010 North American version W212 E-Class. MB put the main signal indicaters on the sides of the projector beam headlights, pushing the lenses inward giving the E a strange look! On the European version the signal indicators are on top of the lenses where thay should be. The North American 2011 E-Class now features the same indicator locations as the European models. I`m glad thay fixed that!

Looks stunning,I'm glad I might have a chance to actually see this in person. Liking the new details. The alternate color scheme on the front spoiler is new for this year, correct?
