E-Class (W212/C207/A207) Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212/S212 Picture Thread

The Mercedes-Benz W212 is the fourth generation of the E-Class range. Body styles: sedan/saloon (W212), estate/wagon (S212). Coupé and convertible models of the W212 E-Class generation are W204 C-Class based and known as the C207 and A207, replacing the CLK-Class (C209 and A209) coupé and cabriolet. Production: 2009–2016. Predecessor: W211 E-Class. Successor: W213 E-Class.
The US E Sedan gets the reddish brown interior, the coupe doesn't unless you get the launch edition.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the E gets an orange colored interior, but not a brown interior. Maybe you can get it on special order.

Probably this is the "natural brown" interior option… :usa7uh:

Wow - ever want to see this colour…looks great in my opinion.

I just realized that looking through this thread, I really don't like the wheels on the E-Class sedans at all, none of them except the E63. The rest look too small and like they're afterthoughts. The wheels on my old arase car look better.

I can't believe it, but true to form the E-Class seems to skip a generation with me. Loved the W124, then the W210 was just ok at best, loved the W211, and now the W212 is just not doing it for me.

^Uh Oh...you sound like me know. What is it that you don't like?

I think it looks decent in the above photos, I just hate that "boxy" finish that it has.

It slopes downward too much and the boxy rear doesn't quite fit the front. Its not sleek and clean like a Benz is supposed to be. Its ok, but I think in this segment I'll take an A6 or XF over the new E. I have to see more of the E on the road to really know for sure. The E has some ugly wheels too, all except for the E63.

I got to see one on the road earlier this week and it looks amazing, especially in the front. On the other hand I agree with you that the boxy rear is an extreme turn off.

Oh yes, the XF would surely get my money over the E-Class. Only problem is I like the E-class interior far better then the XF.

If I could put the E-class interior in the XF...it would be on point.

Then again, the glorious CLS will return soon giving me the XF overall shape and the E-class engineering/interior/build quality.

Yep I get you on this. I too like the E's interior better than the XF's, but not by much. My problem with the XF is those flat arse seats.

Ok....try as I might...I simply don't care for the W212 E-Class. The design is simply too busy, too fussy, and the side profile is all wrong. It slopes down too much as your eyes go from rear to front. Oh well I guess I'll have to find a mint 2007-2009 W211 in a year or so. Oh well it it will be just like with the W210, had to admire the car for years, but not enough to actually want one. For me the facelifted W211 (2007-2009) is where its at for E-Classes.

The only hope for the E-Class at all is seeing the E63 AMG in person and the E550 Coupe. I doubt I'll be bowled over. Oh well. Maybe a nice used W221 S550 w/AMG pack instead.
