Mercedes-Benz E-Class Owners Photo Gallery Thread

Thanks for keeping this thread going guys

This is an old shot - but I love it and that's the reason why I share it... :D

...and some newer pictures!

It was still "winter" and the E-Class had winter-tyres... :D

Our car has only the 2-zone-climate control! Normally only one or two persons are travelling with this car - so we don't need a 4-zone-climate control...(nevertheless I really like the design of the old Thermotrionic Display)

Hey Ali gorgeous smoking machine u have i dore the E63,btw u have an arabic name right?

LOL , thats right , the name says it all , im Lebanese , so that means im arab , my name is ALI , so that means im a muslim Shii !!

Thanks for the comment about the car atuv ....

Here's a shot I took a week ago. You can see how dirty she is. With all the rain down here now, it's a waste of time to clean your car. :D

Nice photo wimmer, good angle and lighting. The design of the pre-facelift E-class is as good as new, maybe the Elegence version look a little dated, but the design is holding up well.

You car is relatively clean compare to mine. Drove it in the rain once or twice, and the wheels are black. I have dirt water splash marks along the sides of the car. I have only washed it 3 weeks ago, time to give it another clean soon.

Does anyone notice the brake pads generates a lot of brake dust?

Thanks Ali and Monster. :t-cheers:

I don't find the pre-facelift E-Class too look outdated at all. I still find it a classy design. The facelifted version looks sportier though, that's about it IMO. :usa7uh:

100% agree with you. Does your wheels gather a lot of brake dust?

It looks like your car has a brake dust problem?! The production of dust at our E-Class is just normal. After longer journeys and without washing the car, the rims (especially the ones at the front) are extremely dirty. I could take a photo soon. But I don't think, that this is abnormal.

Guys, my car has a lot of brake dust, too! Is it considered a problem and should i chenk it?

I think the brake dust on your wheels have harden over a long period of time, it is now part of the rim itself, so no worries there :D

I am fine with it, just want to know of it is the same for other people. I know the pads on the E-class do generate a lot of brake dust, but they come off very easily, the only thing that annoys me is the dust which has gathered around the edges of the star on the center hub, and it is a bitch to clean.

:usa7uh: I really revolve in my mind to clean the rims with a toothbrush... :D

lol, but actually works! I use a toothbrash for some detail in the interior! It's an oral-b model - i can take some pics :D

Not really. We drive the E-Class like a limousine and avoid braking like F1 drivers. :D

One thing with the brakes though was that our brake pads on all four wheels needed a replacement after 72,000 km+. We found that to be a bit "quick", especially since we drive the car in a relaxed and stately manor. :eusa_thin
