A couple weeks ago we got a chance to attend Mercedes-Benz Day at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum. Just like the title of the event suggests, this was a classic show just for cars with the three-pointed star. And there were quite a lot of them.

We saw everything from the latest AMG models to the rare 500E sedans of the 1990s. And there were plenty of truly classic cars there as well, like the 190SL cabriolets or the Pagoda SLs. About the only thing we didn't catch this year was a 300SL. Let's take a look at some highlights from M-B Day.

I love these old Benzes. I grew up during the Sacco era and it is still unmatched.

100% agreed Merc1. I prefer and cherish these Benz cars over any of their new siblings....S W222 included..., without any hesitation. W126 is still unmatched by any modern Mercedes S class. So is the E. The new SL is just plain and awkward looking compared to the R107. The 190 SL can be compared to any Ferrari or Jaguar of its time of course imo. I am a Mercedes fan because of these cars and I am very excited to see these beauties at one place....AHHH!
