GT 4-Door Coupé (X290) Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door MOPF (Modelpflege)

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé (X290) is the first generation five-door variant of the AMG GT two-door sports car. Production: September 2018– Model years: 2019–
If this car was better looking it would have been more successful. It's just far too much of a whale, for what is an aspirational product.

BMW custom PS4S* is not a normal PS4S.

Would like to see the same test with MB's tyres.
All lap times are with OEM tyres both for MB and BMW. So it's still Cup 2 vs PS4S which made E Performance faster than M5 CS.
IMO, M5 CS should be faster than any GT63 regardless of tyres, because it's a semi-track car

The GT 63s E-Performance is 1,133lbs (514kg) heavier than the M5 CS which is insane.
The power-to-weight ratio between the two is not that much of a difference. GT63s E, 6.31 vs M5 CS 6.56.
M5 CS light weight should have the advantage.

No, it's not. Non OEM vs non OEM would be a fair test. A guy in the video says that BMW's PS4s has a lot of technology from CUP2. The OEM PS4S has almost 2s advantage over non OEM. And he has another test where BMW OEM Cup2 gives just 0.7s advantage on a 1min 10sec track vs OEM Ps4s on the same car.

Yes, and...

.....since we don't know how good is MB's OEM tyre vs BMW's OEM tyre we compare it anyway.
Nobody will drop the OEM tyres from MB and BMW, fit them with non-OEM and then test it on the track

The standard GT 63S is 0.62sec faster than the E-Performance model with Cup2 tires (1:20.49 vs 1:21.11) so I dont think the power difference has an effect around this track, It all has to do with tires and weather conditions.
