M3 is still the reference in terms of driving experience. I´m not a fan of the F30 but what M has done with this car is amazing. The AMG engine is lovely as well. But the M3 feels more special. Not the same the aero package, same engine than the rest of the M line up.

Hilarious how the C63 needs almost 80 hp extra and still can't win...
Well, only in the poll here, but MB wins most polls here.

Weight difference is also pretty huge. BMW took the right approach here.
