P1 McLaren P1 GTR

The McLaren P1 (codenamed P12) is a flagship sports car produced by McLaren Automotive. It is the second installment in McLaren's Ultimate Series after the McLaren F1. Considered to be the spiritual successor to the F1, the P1 was one of the first high performance sports cars to be introduced incorporating hybrid technology; the Porsche 918 Spyder having begun taking orders prior to the P1 and the LaFerrari introduced alongside it.

Few more details on this bespoke P1 GTR: this is the P1 GTR #12 and it is a road-converted car.

It can be said that this is the fastest among all the P1 GTRs: in fact, the car (which is named "Beco", after the name Senna's family used to call Ayrton with) features an upgraded aerodynamic package (new front dive planes, wider front splitter, at the rear a Gurney flap and new barge boards) compared to the rest of the P1 GTR fleet, which increases the downforce up to 800 kg.
For the reference, the "standard" P1 GTR should produce 660 kg of downforce at 257 km/h (10% more than the P1). I presume that the 800 kg of the "Beco" are more or less at the same speed, which would mean around 20% more of downforce compared to the other P1 GTRs.

Here a comparison between the size of its rear wing compared to that of the "standard" P1 GTR.

Furthermore, the car has the same 3.8 liter V8 of the reference GTRs, but it boats more power compared to the usual 986 bhp thanks to bespoke modifications to the hybrid powetrain.

As a final touch, the car should weight few pounds less than the "usual" P1 GTR as it features super-lightweight seats from the McLaren Senna (here below the visual comparison).

The P1 LM is a tuner car, it's not a factory offering so for this very reason it doesn't deser...

The P1 LM is indeed much better than any "factoring offering" P1 GTR, as the "tuner" (as you call it) is actually the official Lanzante Motorsport team, which prepared it on a technical level of aerodynamics, chassis, engine and suspensions much higher than any P1 GTR in existence.
In fact, we are not talking about someone like Mansory putting some glitters and diamonds on a Bugatti Veyron, but an official F1 GTR 24h of Le Mans winning Motorsport team which became (and currently is) a direct (and the highest quality one) service center for both road legal and race McLarens.

The 5 P1 LMs are technically bespoke cars which are the closest modern hommage to the iconic McLaren F1 LM from the very Motorsport team which won Le Mans with the F1, they represent the rarest and fastest version of the P1 and their actual value is increasing year by year as they are true collection items.

So yes, the P1 LM deserves its own thread, it already has it, and rightfully so.

So you get my point this isn't a factory offering it is a vehicle from a tuner, a high end tuner but a tuner nonetheless. It's no different than the Manthey Racing built 911 GT2's.

Don’t be daft, no it isn’t.
Says who? There are more P1 LMs then there are of some Pagani and Koenigsegg models. If Lazante isn't a manufacturer then neither is Ruf because I don't see any difference in what they do. The P1 LMs were produced in exactly the same way the F1 LMs, i.e. extensive modifications to the GTR version of each, the GTR going from McLaren to Lazante for the modifications, just like with any Ruf. Lazante has also campaigned as a manufacturer in motorsport.
