Whatever the case with 707hp and 734lb-ft the SLR by that time will be one of the most powerful supercars in the world!

The Mercedes boss has said, For the future, the trend will be turbocharging! Remember this thread? http://www.germancarforum.com/showthread.php?t=2186&highlight=Mercedes+boss

You can bet if this powerboosted SLR has 650hp (up from 626) MB shouldn`t have a problem with 707hp.
I know that fugure is a rumer but I have been seeing a few articles of MB testing a 700hp V8.

I dont deny the turbo, Im talking about the numbers.

Hp predictions usually arn`t wrong. If thay are inaccurate it`s usually by
7 or 8hp. Thats no big deal. We will see how the numbers playout.

time will tell so enough of it.

Do you dare to guess any laptimes? :)

Well seeing as they have changed quite a few things, bigger brakes and rims, more power, new aero, and less weight. I would say...

Nurburgring: 7:41
Hockenheim: 1:12.9

Didn't the current SLR drop SBC?
