This has been my worry about the top mounted exhausts on a hardcore "regular" production series models. There is a reason why nobody has been doing them excluding some hypercars. Looks like McLaren might be in a firey trouble with all of the 600LT that will be exposed to overevving.

I also noticed they had to deliver cars without a CF wing, probably because it melted lol.

I am very curious to know which idiotic authority issued the Certificate of Conformity that each vehicle in Europe should have. I've stated it before that this arrangement of the exhaust tips is dangerous not only for the car itself but most importantly for pedestrians staying behind the car, with the car throwing flames into their faces.

Perhaps that is why Salonmadrin's Senna caught on fire too.

Probably the same idiots who gave the 918 one with the same exhaust style.

Nice read.
The 2019 600LT Might Be the Best Car McLaren Makes

This owner prefers the 600LT over the 488 Pista. Hes going to sell the Ferrari.
Pista has more bodyroll, understeer...and it's a bit too powerful for Nordschleife anyway.

And by the way:
The owner is Robert Mitchell. Founder of APEX - Company at Nürburgring Nordschleife known for their various Ring Taxi offers (very fast cars: Modified BMW F80 - from Schirmer I think, McLaren 720S, 600LT, Pista …)

He is a hell of a good driver! Look at his various inboards - wish I could drive like him!

Mclaren has just built it's 20000th car. And it's this nice 600LT Spider in color Chicane Grey.
