Replacing both the 300 SL and 190 SL, the Mercedes-Benz 230 SL was introduced in 1963 with a distinctive concave roofline that earned the nickname "pagoda top". Produced from 1963 to 1971.

The older a mercedes is the better.So much appealing cars.

Some of the newer ones will be quite appealing in the future. It just takes time. The CLS or current SLK will be classics for sure, I feel.

However, back in the old days, MB could sell every car they made because there was no competition, literally. Nowadays, you have a lot of serious competition that offers superior cars for less money or with better selling points. :eusa_doh:
