Maybach bringing back Zeppelin nameplate for Geneva Motor Show

No they musn't do names. I can hear the copying claims now. The Yacht thing is great IMO. You know exactly what you're getting 53, 57, 62 etc.

Tottaly agree, Maybach had never used names for it's models, except the Zeppelin name, which had been used for flagship models.

I found this text about Maybach Zeppelin on this German site:
Luxus-Limousine: Der neue Maybach verströmt den Duft des Geldes - Nachrichten Motor - WELT ONLINE

I don't speak German, so I used google translate tool to translate last two paragraphs of the text.

The times for Maybach could obviously much better. And if the project ever profit, you will probably never know. But in Stuttgart is one satisfied with the development since the launch five years ago sold 2500 times Chateau on wheels: "The Maybach brand is very well established and will of course continue," admits marketing chief Detlef Barthelmes all doubt: "It makes even the Product Innovations clear.

Since October 2008 is the Maybach Landaulet available, now comes the Zeppelin. And you can rest assured - we still have lots of ideas for the future. "

Mercedes-Maybach

In November 2014, Daimler announced the revival of the Maybach name as a sub-brand of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222), positioned as an upscale version akin to the more sporty Mercedes-AMG sub-brand.
