Vs M5 Competition F90 vs AMG GT63 S (Drag & Rolling)

So all things equal, stock or tuned the M5C is the faster car. Which defies why a slower and heavier car is 5s faster on the same track, is it the slicks, but a whole 5s advantage is crazy.

They driving on public roads, with many cars around, I dont think this can be a proper race situation for each car. If an open runway then it would be a better indicator which one is faster, but it is pretty close. Judging by various tests the M5C is not faster than the GT 63S.

Okay here’s a safer space with an open runway, same results M5C just has longer legs.

Which tests are you referring to in particular? None that I can remember..

Looks like GT63s has longer legs in this video. It is faster than the M5 Competition up until the driver kicks it back from 7 gear (at 296km/h) to 6th gear. At 7th gear, it is ahead of the M5 Competition. 295km/h vs. 289km/h

I think it's better to use tested GPS speed in magazines..As far I know GT63 S 0-300km/h time is: 35.8s, for reference M5 CP and E63 S both: 32.8s

Drawing closure to fanboyism
People debating which car they're never going to own is quicker at accelerating.

Jesus f***ing wept.

Points taken but
I actually could care less about speed tests with cars running this close and would not spend the money on either one. My point was, drawing conclusions based on a couple of drag races is silly when there are a number of conditions at play in the real world with these tests.

In the real world, on public roads, there is no scenario where two cars can drag, side by side from standstill for 400m legally.

Somehow the Russians seem to get away with it...time after time..lol
On the OP video those guys literally stopped on the highway while other cars were coming really crazy, but I still appreciate the content, it doesn’t get more real world than that.
