M3/M4 Looks: E92 M3 vs. E46 M3

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

I like them both, neither of them are ugly.
M3 E92 looks more aggressive and fresh. M3 E46 clearly showing age compared to E92 but still manage to be one of the best looking cars on the roads.

I just included the ugly part to keep the haters happy. E92 won out for me. Why? Love the wheels and it has a more glued to the road, down flat, aggresive look that looks so menacing. Both are brillaint but. Would be more then happy with either.

The E92 for me - love the V8 engine etc - nevertheless I wouldn't never drive one. Don't really like it.

The new M3 is so hot that some dealers here in the U.S. are adding a 25K USD "market adjustment" to the sticker price!

that is just insane but sure if you have the money and want to be the first to own a M3, go ahead and loose money. Personally I would rather wait :t-drive:

Of course it would've been fair if you also included an option D. "Both are gorgeous" :D

The E46 M3 is a classic already. Particularly in CS and CSL guises. I really love that car in Steel Grey. However... I have to say that I am utterly captivated by the E92 M3. It looks so fine in white (my favourite colour as you all know) and it has sense of purpose and aggression that is somehow non-existant in the current bog-standard E92 Coupe. It's amazing what a subtle bit of M-fettling does for the looks of the E92!

I can't wait for the CSL with its bigger rear gurney spoiler and carbon-fibre bits on the body work!

Feel free to add that option moderators... Forgot about that. Shouldn't have because both are gorgeous as mr. Martino said above.

E92 is more muscular and I don't even think that's the best color for this car. Something about it that is more elegant as well.

Not all dealers are adding to the price of the car though (this one is full house).

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
