LIVE from the 2010 Geneva Motor Show! Full BMW coverage inside!

I think you are misunderstanding me..or just being slow cause it suits you:D

To me something new is a thing that was released or made to be shown in the metal at Geneva..

maybe the FL 3er was.. if so then great 1 new thing..

If not then Zero..

And as for MB..you can yourself see what they are bringing..

But im out.. of this shit...
My only question was what news are they bringing..but its being seen as im dissing BMW and im comparing to MB..when i didnt even mention MB..

This can only end bad..

Ciao!!!

awww, here comes the emo post. Poor artist trying to have honest discussion and big bad BMW fans dissing him and driving him away.

^^Did he say that it got changed last minute??

Im looking and looking but so far I havent seen a secret car from MB for Geneva so until then MB are just as boring as BMW.

See, it didnt end bad.

Hejdå!!!

(Now Im going to enjoy the photos and watch all the exciting news from BMW)

yea, and I wonder what is "new" from Audi, since we already saw both A1 and RS5.

Fact is every one is doing it... press releases before the show. And saving surprises only for concepts like the Porsche 918 or Vision ED concept.

Can we move on now?

Too bad if the M1 is a no-show, I was really looking forward to seeing it. The only thing to catch my eye other than some nice wheels from the bimmer camp was that white F10. And I must say, although I like white quite a bit on previous 5's, it doesn't seem to suit the F10 at all.

Maybe IRL though.

Another question..
When does the show start..? is it 4th or 1st?

Im confused

Seriosly, whats up with all these 1000 questions. Does it really matter? the car isnt at the show, isnt that enough.
A link says more than thousand words. :D ;)

Another question..
When does the show start..? is it 4th or 1st?

Im confused
Press days start tomorrow, on March 2nd. The show itself goes from March 4th to March 14th.

Best regards,
south

Scott of course

Has Scott confirmed this? Where? It would be nice if he was as quick to say when things change as he is to post "spin". BMW won't have suddenly decided not to bring the M1 Concept. Scott would have known about it long before he set off for Geneva. This is why I think creative marketing has to accept the criticism they get.

I'll quote Scott again:

"The M3 Coupe and Cabrio along with the M3 GTS will be on show @ Geneva along with an X5-M (Swiss market preference) , No M6 or M5 will be shown but there is room for 1 more."

http://www.germancarforum.com/bmw-lo...ng-2010-a.html (The product range of BMW M GmbH for spring 2010)

Look at the way Scott has written "1 more". Not "one more". But "1 more". Obviously the intention here is to make us think it's the M1 Concept.

"M1 will follow the same procedure as the E92 Concept , pictures released on press day".

http://www.germancarforum.com/x5-sav...cs-info-9.html (E70 X5 Facelift Thread (Spy pics & info))

I am going to Geneva and was looking forward to seeing the M1 Concept. Why on Earth doesn't Scott just keep quiet until things are definite?

I was planning on going to Geneva just for the M1. Now I don't think I'm going anymore at all. Maybe next week and go ski a weekend though...

New..
As in seen for the first time.. in public..
Or Never seen before at all

A hybrid 5er, and competition package does not qualify.. im sorry

FL E92.. maybe if this is the first public apparence..

Dude, 5er is making it's public debut too, what are you talking about? It's as new as a car can possibly get.....

^Thats what i wanted to hear..

This is a big show then for BMW afterall...
Kinda sad that the press releases take the xcitement out of the shows ..
But we want to see everything so quick..

I guess we want to keep the cake and eat it..

;)

Nothing is a given on the BMW forums. Insiders say one thing, and BMW does the opposite or something else ;)

But I think the M3 CP is a given, yes....

Also, I think the Z4 340 hp 35is version is making it's public debut? And probably the FL X5 and X6 with performance parts?
I think it's a great show from BMW. It's just sad that insiders build up a hype for M1 and then when the car isn't there on the show, it looks like BMW doesn't deliver. Even though M1 probably never was to be presented for Geneva to begin with, and nobody would have asked for it being there if some hadn't started about that....

Can we move on now?

Maybe IRL though.

White on a standard non M pack F10 makes the car looks a bit bland I think. I've seen itIRL now, and I thought gray looks better than white (opposite for the E60) and Sapphire Black is just stunning!

M1 Concept was suppose to come but a last minute decision changed it all.

not to ruin Scott's reputation, but I was told it was never in plan for Geneva. To launch a car like that it takes months and lots of things go behind a product lunch and it is hard to believe it was pulled at the last minute. At least that's what we were told by 3 different sources.
