I will give you a teaser of what is coming up in the June update which will occur in just over a week.

Touched previously on the March Update. I will tell you about the BMW Compactive Sport Tourer and the BMW Advanced Sport Tourer,
Flexible Sports Concept.

An indepth description of the strategy of the "Z" Spyder Stradale.

And some exciting future Concepts for MINI.

Very intriguiing, looking forward to finding out what the distinction between compactive and advanced is?

M division?

Series?

Guess we'll have to wait a week or so! Making that purchase decision next year all the more harder.

Mark.

A flexible Sports Concept cleverly re-interpreted as a car (or two).

M division?
No.

Possible...

It depends on your requirements...

SCOTT, again my question. Do the CS Concept have a chance to be build or not ???

Now I'm not the praying the type, but I'm going to take a knee and pray for a miracle on the CS concept production front.

Dear BMW,

What are you thinking? How could you not produce the CS concept? Do you not want us your customers to throw our money blindly at you for the love of the concept?

From, a soon to be unruly BMW fan.

I hope you won't have to attend another wedding this week. Wedding seem to last quite a long these days in Germany
biggrin.webp
Umm. no. Tomorrow (today) is a public holiday in Germany. But I have it written , just to post.

Scott, shall we yet get more Pics and Info (N-Ring time) for M3 GTS?

Scott, thanks.

Interesting items emerging. Is it time yet to provide us more detail about the coming 6 series? Can you solve the coupe/articulated hardtop/cabriolet mystery? How about slipping us a couple more revealing photos? This is about the only dimension in which BMW moves glacially!

He's not allowed to say anything even if he does. Otherwise he would have. The roof is a secret.

Agree, Klier, but it is becoming tedious. Lots of us want to know more about the new 6.

If a true coupe is not going to be offered, I have a different car to discover/buy [Panamera Coupe? {I think Porsche should have started that car as a coupe, and then offered the butt ugly sedan--It might have been easier to take if one of the siblings were beautiful}]. [CL/S Coupe?] I erred when I traded my E63, but all the electronics gremlins [some mine suffered, some it did not] made me reluctant to own it beyond the warranty.

At its heart, the 6 has always been a coupe, since E24. I hope it continues.

I agree, all this talk about distant projects that aren't even greenlit is fun but meaningless really.
The X3 is about to launch and it's being ignored (when is the launch, for instance??), and not much if being said about the 6er either.

Late yesterday I received an email from BMWNA marketing, featured are 1,3,5,7 series, and trucks.

Not even a mention of the 6 series for 2011...

Well that's logical because the 6er is close to dead, the new one is still a secret and they don't want to show a car that is about to be replaced by a new one.

Well, yes and no, I think, but it does offer additional rationale for being so secretive about the F12/F13/F14 now.

BMWNA and worldwide needs to sell off remaining dealer inventories of the E63/64 and de-emphasizing that model, especially this early, seems counterintuitive as it doesn't help that process.

Perhaps they have very limited inventories now and will create "shortages" and "pent-up" demand for the new car.

Interestingly, there will be no 2011 6 series; 2010 6 series will remain for sale until the new 2012 6 becomes available--in North America at least.
