What’s up everyone. I’m a long time BMW owner as well as many other cars in the collection.
So after a long hard thought process, I decided that I wanted to body swap my beautiful E39 with my custom 1955 Ford Customline, and I did it!
The 55’ Ford was a free car that I saved from going to a salvage yard on my birthday last year, And the BMW e39 was a $200 beater that I also saved from going to scrap and then brought back to life. After saving the e39 and finding out that It had a salvage title that couldn’t be registered here in California, I decided that I would find another e39 preferably a 540 or an M5 with a manual transmission and put this one to good use bringing my 1955 Ford Customline back to life & make a few bucks back to cover the build by selling off the unused parts. Plus the automatic transmission is boring, but works great for a cruise night car like this build!
As of today the body is officially on the car, the headlights and taillights have been retrofit from the e39 harness And re plugged Into the Ford light housing units. Many more YouTube updates getting posted daily!
