Certainly, a German Car Forum is not the place to look news on a British brand, but this time Jaguar had us pleasantly surprised with Coventry's new super sedan, the XFR-S. 550 horsepower and 680Nm of torque make the XFR-S Jaguar's fastest and most powerful sedan, as is proven by the numbers: 4.4 seconds for the zero to 100km/h and an electronically limited top speed of 300km/h.
What caught our attention though, is that the XFR-S is now a direct competitor to the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. The 5.0l supercharged V8 alongside the 8 speed Quickshift transmission have the ability to give the German sedans a very hard time, as the suspension, the active electronic differential and the dynamic stability control have been revised in order to allow the driver to explore the full potential of the car.
