XF Jaguar XF Thread (pics & info)

The Jaguar XF (X250) is an executive luxury sports saloon car that was manufactured and marketed by the British automobile manufacturer Jaguar Cars. Launched in Autumn 2007 as a replacement for the S-Type, the XF was designated internally as the X250. The X250 was succeeded by the X260 in 2015.
Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

It looks a bit weird, but it might grow on me...the headlights look as if they are upside down...but I think it looks quite aggresive from the front actually.

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

The second picture looks a lot better, then the first one...this car could be really great. I have to see this Jag in reality, then I can say, if it looks amazing or if it is a disaster...

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

Is that a real picture? If so Ford f*cked it up with the head lights.

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

It doesn't take much for Jaguar to impress me. I never had high expectations of them in the first place!;)

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

Its quite nice. But there are 2 problems: -
[1] Our expectations were high since we've seen the spectacular C-XF concept.
[2] The final product resembles the mondeo alot IMO.

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

Nasty. Looks nothing like the concept.

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

From all the spyshots I have seen I was all along worried about the front, that it will have head lights resembling the S-type. I still have faith though becasue I really want to like this car.

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

Wow.. that is a very wierd looking car.. in a very very bad way..

Shot of production Jaguar XF finds way onto web

After a lengthy investigation, we've traced this clear shot of the production Jaguar XF back to Road and Track's website. The buff book's digital division published an article online titled "Top 20 New Cars for 2008". One of those cars is the Jaguar XF, and Road and Track, which we're suspecting already has its hands on a boat load of long-lead press shots, decided to publish one for the people ahead of the vehicle's official debut later this month. We'd link to the article for you, but that would only encourage this kind of behavior.

The profile shot gives us a nice view from which to compare what's changed on this car's relatively short path from concept to production. For starters, the production car has the corporate fender vents found on nearly all Jags rather than the stylized vents from the concept. The wheels also appear to be the same ones we saw in our last batch of spy shots that revealed the car's naked arse. From the side, those taillights look like they were directly ported from the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, as well.

Though we can see a bit of the face here, it's tough to tell whether we like it or not. The concept has been largely toned down, with the car exhibiting proper real world proportions, functional door handles and the like. Was the essence of the C-XF Concept preserved? We'll find out later this month when Jag officially hands over the goods.

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

I simply don't want to believe that's the real deal...

:t-cheers:

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

Good looking car, but they've lost what the concept had. I'm sorry to say but I was right. While the overall shape remains the same, they have taken away most of the details that made this car superhot. But now it is just a well designed car, and nothing more. It will sell well, but won't break new grounds. I'll tick to my fav jag as of right now..XK.

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

I hate that the head lights are an evolution of the quad S-type head lights, but the rear is very nice:

BTW Jaguar will issue the a set of official images on the 28th.

Re: Jaguar XF Thread (Spy pics & info)

It still maintained most of the bosywork fropm the conept just some tweaks and it still ooks dam sexy.
