Jabba´s garage...

Amazing. Congratulations Jabba!

Please do let us know if it's as brilliant to own as the magazines suggest it would be. I'm sure you're well placed to compare it to some of the other cars you have/have had. :usa7uh:

That is one splendid looking car right there! Best of wishes and many happy miles.

Outside, finally!
Here you can see the secret of Alubeam: It looks like the car is made of one peace of metal. The "ordinary" metallic colours include small particles that reflect the light. Alubeam ist straight, no particles inside.
But i have to admit: From a distance of 10 meters you won´t see a difference :D

In the background another SLS and an E (with which we drove to the CoE)
You can see the huge brake calipers. The rims look from this angle some kind of flat, not as good as they look in real... They are massive!

Next time i will show you pictures from inside!

What do u think of the SLR in ur last pic? how does it compare to ur car in real?

Soooooo,
back from holiday, one week on a famous german island, 2000 km later and still happy.

Here some real life pics, there has been heavy rain, lots of sand in the air and so on, but the car still looks like new, the colour is just amazing! You can see the dead insects on the front...

Break dust? Nothing! Beside of the fact that they do slow down the car really effective they stay clean, the rims are not effectied in any way.

Here is one more pro for the gullwings! No problem opening the door completely in this clearance... oh man, when i think about the people who complain the usability...

In front of the hotel... alongside with an old Rolls.

And here it is: The boring, ugly and so extreme common looking dashboard. You can find this in some way in every other Merc, even the the shift control lights above are a one to one copy from that of the A Class... really... not... It looks just perfect, seeing the speedo and tacho needles running up. I can not remeber any recent Merc having something like this. The symbols are hidden and only appear (like the parking break sign on the right) when used.

More pictures and a first review comming soon!

@Tarek
The SLR still looks very fresh. In my opinion the should keep it and do a major facelift specially for the interior. This car with a new engine... Merc would have two real dreamcars and no fear, that they rival, they both have there own place. Don´t forget: the SLR is about twice as expensive!
In many ways the SLS has copied things from the SLR. I have some pics from the SLR SM edition, i will post them later.

Would u take that SLR over the SLS?..assuming money is not an issue?:)

Nice pics. The more I see of the SLS, the better it seems to look.

So how man more KM's do you have to do before you can open the taps?

Got a closer look at the SLS at MB of Manhattan. Gorgeous color. I think it was that diamond or pearl white that I've seen on an SL63 before. It also had the carbon fiber interior with the red leather - very cozy. I just wanted to jump in but I didn't wanna be thrown out LOL.

I have a couple of questions for you since the salesman was busy with a serious buyer.

It obviously has a start button for the engine, but how do you start it in an emergency??

How do you open the trunk? There's no handle??

Then a guy takes it out for a spin:

Maybe I can get the hook up through Sako97 to test drive it :D.

*screech*

Massive oil under the car, right down to the rear axle!
I have to admit, i was a little shocked.
But the solution is simple: I had a spare liter of oil in the boot. Unfortunately it wasn´t a brand new can, the had just bottled one liter, so the seal was not really closed.
The temperature in the boot is really really hot because of the exhaust. The can heated up a couple of times and cooled down... the cover was not closed any more, the oil makes his way all down.
Nothing was damaged, i have to replace the trims of the boot... but the car is fine.
:D
