Invasion of the mega-hatches , prepare for the future

Being new and an owner of the brand Ford I'm intrested about Focus RS. Is some of the magic from Fiesta ST coming to Focus RS. Let's hope so.

I still rate Ford as the ultimate Hothatch brand despite Volkswagen inventing it. I sincerely hope like you that this magic rubs off on the Focus RS as it would be great to see it regain its former glory.

There was talk about Ford not launching the Focus RS due to the Ecoboost Mustage hitting Europe, they would be around the same price. I'd rather the Focus the Stang has alsways been a POS, I don't see this one being much different.

American muscle appeals to a very narrow group of individuals this side of the pond so I seriously doubt it would/could replace a Focus RS.

If the 270 hp Renault can be on the list, then so should the next JCW, provided it gives us at least 250 bhp.

You think the JCW will go from 218hp now to more than 250hp next time? I don't think the new Cooper got ANY bump in power in fact, did it?

And the Renault is a bit of a reach being on this list as well...

I said "if".

Ford has high expectations for the Ecoboost 4 cylinder Stang in Europe

Having high expectations and achieving decent sales figures aren't exactly the same thing. No disrespect to the American car industry but the material quality of their interiors hasn't been up to European standards in the past and I doubt this Mustang will be much different.

I seriously doubt this Mustang could sell a quarter of the number they could sell of the Focus RS.
