F1 Indy/GP USA is gone from F1

I HATE BERNEI!!!! and this is becoming the death of formula 1 racing :t-banghea

Of racing, yes, of F1 NO.

B.E. took F1, witch was kind of just another series, and turned it into a global phenomenon, who's audience figures are inferior only to the Olympics and World Cup. And thus became a multi billionaire.

I'm not hugely sad to see indy go, but the US needs a GP, for the car makers as it's there biggest market for car sales, and for all the other sponsors!

I wonder where they will have the US GP next year!

[SARCASM] Grrrrrrrreat.... [/SARCASM]

I was actually planning on taking a trip down there with my brother-in-law next summer. :eusa_doh:

for me, i really liked the Indy track. it's banked curve is just so unique. and it's a special circuit, especially during the Schumi era :)

anyways, i guess we'll only see the USGP back on the calender somewhere in 2009-2010.

Oh the great old memories...

F1 is going to lose out on revenue.

Bernie will get 3 to 4x times more from India. So nope, no loss.

That's along with poor promotion is why F1 is out of USA.

France and IMS/USA paid a only miserable 10 million per year, while Bernie could get 30 to 40 million, or even more, from other places.

I don't see how Bernie will lose anything. He could pick any mideast or Asian destination and name his own price to have a race there.

I never liked the USGP at Indy. I remember some yobs in the crowd at Indy throwing a beer at Gaston Mazzacane and again after the 2005 farce.
