I don't even know where to start.
From this non-sense, Lexus is conquering the world, the germans are dead meat, to all the germans do is overpriced crap.
I'm so sick and tired.
I have to defend BMW/MB/Audi and even VW and Porsche, from crap on so many treads/forums to the point that I'm sick.
 
as far as this site..it doesent happen.. im sure it happens on other sites..
but i activly avoid them..and you should also.. :D

Not necesarly on this site, as far as I recall.
But there are countless other sites.
Not that I need help or anything in proving these guys wrong, but the problem is they don't even accept reason.

I'm telling you guys this is the best reading you'll ever see anywhere on the net about the Germans vs. the Toyota/Lexus bunch! Scroll back and read the thousands of posts, I've been there since 1999 and a couple of the Lexus fanatics on there in particular make it so easy to prove that they're cluessless about cars. I've also found that Toyota/Lexus fanatics aren't enthusisast, they only like Toyota/Lexus products and they're pretty ignorant about any other brand beyond what their surveys tell them. Such a sad bunch.

You make an excellent, but I'd by lying if I said I didn't enjoy proving them wrong or reading their far-out excuses as to why a Lexus doesn't win a comparo or why the Germans prestige and performance doesn't matter. You should read some of the B.S. they come up with. It is way more overboard than anything I've ever read here.

I too am sick of these Toyota / Lexus fanboys. Unbelievable what crap they're spewing out.


"Lexus has the best interiors in every class, by far." <-- True, but I wouldn't say "best in class". Audi is a powerful player here, and the newer Mercedes interiors are pretty impressive too.

Just go to www.autospies.com and check out the idiotic Lexus fans posting there. Sadly, there seem to be a lot of idiotic German car fans there too. No wonder these things always get out of hands...

Yep and add to that some crazy stuff, like the Lexus LF-A will kill the 911, and/or VW rebadges their cars as Audis/Lambos/Bugattis and you got the complete picture.

You are right Chris ...but who cares, these people have no feeling for la joie de vie. They have no love of culture, no passion for history, no sense of true style, no appreciation for authenticity, no sensitivity for the metaphysical aspects of engineering. They will never comprehend what it is we love about Mercedes-Benz.
