i couldn't find an off topic fitting enough for it (kinda goes under education)

i am currently a russ or russ celebration which it is known for world wide which is the party for being done with 12/13 years of school (will have my exams on the 6th of june)

i'm a blackruss for studying a vocational education (car mechanic, with the first year being called technical and industrial production) and when i'm done i will become an apprentice at a local workshop

we also have a redruss for general studies, media and communication, art,music, dance and drama and athletics

then there is also blue for administration and economics

what is the russ celebration? roughly one month of partying, starting on the 20th (rougly depending on region) of april and ending the 17th of may

as a russ we also create cards which we give away to kids (look on it as pokemon cards you can only get one month a year) which has name, school, adress (can be faked or made fun of), phone number (faked or made fun off) and a slogan, i'll quote mine:

i don't believe in love at first sight but it sure as hell makes things a lot easier

i'll also quote some other cards:

"because the more i drink, the less there is for the kids to drink"

as a russ we also have something called knots (basically an excuse to do stupid shit):
swimming before the 1st of may
running naked across a bridge or a public place
sleeping in the garden of your teacher
kissing someone of the same gender
run two rounds around the russcar/bus on red light
poledancing on public transport with empathy for 5 min

i'm going to the last russparty before the time of being russ is over, night to the 17th of may, it's going to be an awesome way to end the russ celebration

of course it's not going to be as big as lillehammer but i beieve all 4 local russbuses will meet up

now that the russ celebration is officially over i can say it was worth it

lots of partying, (some) drinking and giving out cards to kids and ending it with a party from the 16th to the 17th of may and walking in a russ parade to end it all

the pants are off and i'm feeling relieved that the time is over, but i would do it again if i had the chance

It's a stupid celebration, too many russ get badly injurred or even die, the timing of it sux, a week or so before end of school exams start. I hope that by the time my kids get to be Russ it's either been moved until after the exams or banned altogether.

no, i was just there to have a good time and party as for the gang rape that happend, i can't even flirt for crying out loud and putting me with any girls who don't have a common intrest just ends up being awkward, so i prefer to stick to myself or my friends

as long as you pay attenton in school it isn't a problem

banning russ celebration is like banning may 17th, you can't ban a tradition (unless that tradition is REALLY horrible)

i should also say that i'm not a huge drinker, i don't like beer and sprite is a little strong unmixed, so i normally drink a lightly mixed cola and vodka and i still got more than half of the bottle i mixed at thr 16th of may left(0.5ltr) (infact i've never gotten drunk in my entire life)

yeah, and you can do pretty stupid stuff when your drunk

i am kind of in a hangover though, after the russ train through kongsvinger i felt very eeire (if that's the correct word to use) and night to the 17th i couldn't sleep because thelight outside kept me awake at around 4 o lock and night to today i had a headache and a stuffy nose that kept me awake, so it seems as if i'm not getting away from the side effects that easily

as for now i can put my focus on the exams

You need to appreciate good beer and wine, but the only proper drink is gin. Also mixing drinks up successfully needs a lot of experience and skills. It took me years to build up mine.

Also, practice makes you better.

i just mixed it lightly: 21.9% vodka with a cola which i drank to nearly the top of the paper wrapping, total estimated alcohol in the mix: 5%-8%

He's Norwegian, booze is so expensive in Norway it only allows one kind of drinking culture, drink till you drop. You should see Norwegians drink when the booze is free, it nuts, they have no self control.

By the way, a russ died in my town yesterday, he had been in a coma for a week or so after being run over by another drunk russ.
