I guess I am back!

Well, well, well, talk about a ghost from the past!

Welcome back Christian! How's life been treating you all those years? Will you stay this time?

Hi Giannis,

Good to see you again! Yes, I will hang around here more often. Always great to be in the company of like-minded people and true auto enthusiasts!

How can we forget one of our most prominent and contributing members.
Just mentioned you here the other day.

I feel honored! :)

I still see many cool cars in this city but these days I don't always carry around a DSLR. I've grown older and it's harder to talk yourself out of problems! :D

A year ago when i was going back from Stuttgart steel fair i went to MB museum and i was looking for a guy lying on the floor and taking pictures of Mercedes cars with people around looking weird at him with "WTF" face, but you weren't there... :D :D

Welcome back, old fart... Nice to see you here... :t-cheers:

PS: formerly known as TycoonGTR :wave4:

Haha, good one! I actually do just that! :D:D:D

Hi Tycoon! Great to see you again! :)

I hope you enjoyed the Mercedes Museum. I am planning on going there again soon!

Wow

Yeah i remember you i folow you in FB

Thank you for the support. Really appreciate it! :)

Welcome back! I remember your brown one series. It's great to see a long term car owners amongst many people who switch every 3-4 years.

Thank you. :)

Indeed, I have no real plans of upgrading to another (new) car. Why dispose of something that still works flawlessly? Plus I love how the little 1er feels. The driving feel, the seating position, the steering feedback, the interior ergonomics - they're all superb. It gives me the feeling that the guys at BMW really invested time into the attention to detail in this car. Truth be told I miss that feeling in many of the newer cars which just feel so - not right - in terms of seating position etc. It's just one of those little details which I love about the E87 1er.

Hey man!!

I do remember you and your pics of course.

Nice to have you back!!

Thank you! Stay tuned for more pictures - I still see nice cars here. :)

I do remember you. Welcome back

Thank you! :)

It's great to hear from you again..I remember reading your reviews in particular which were always insightful..

Thank you! :)

I've not driven many new cars lately, but I work with many car owners during photoshoots and sometimes you get to drive them. These are classic cars, of course. :)

Welcome back Christian! I always wondered where you disappeared and missed your contributions.

While you're driving a BMW, has your family remained faithful to MB?

Thank you! :)

Yes, we are still passionate about Mercedes (and other cars). My dad is an E-Class man and he fell in love with a 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 CGI W212 with an AMG body kit and wheels. It is fully-loaded with all sorts of features that we never use. But 200,000 km later everything still works great and she's a pleasure to drive. That engine is a gem, but it was never offered in North America.

Here's a photo of it. :)

wow....you're a prominent name from the past!!

Well, I still have my 135i (stubby nose) coupe too! It's still my daily beater in the winter!!

I'm just a regular guy with some cameras living in a nice city with many nice cars. :D

Glad to meet a fellow 1er owner, and that's a nice one! 135i's are sweet.
