+- 18.000BMW built nearly 14000 standard M3's, they should leave the special editions and Evo II cars alone.
Its an impressive looking car and sure must be a joy to own, but I still find it a bit nasty priced, considering they take the body of a standard 190 and then do so many mods. The good thing they use a 3.0 V6 Mercedes engine that is modified to produce 450HP and with a 1350kg weight should provide decent performance.
Yes definitely even 450HP is not enough power for this kind of money. My guess is the high price is due to the heavy mods and carbon fiber body work. For €700k I would expect a lot more than 450hp.
M139 would actually be perfect for this. Modified for a higher redline somewhere in the 7000s.If I could afford £700,000 I'd almost certainly be able to afford an original 190E Evo, which I think I'd rather have.
Don't get me wrong, I like this, but it's a bit too much body-kit and big-wheels - and not enough engine. I mean power for the weight will be more than enough, but a V6 Twin Turbo with peak power at 6000 rpm isn't the experience that the 190E conjures up in my head - revving the tits off a naturally aspirated smaller displacement engine would seem more appropriate to me, personally.
For the price of 700K you can buy 2 original 190E Evo II models and they will probably increase in value more over the years while this car could depreciate due to it not been a well known brand and its not an original Mercedes. If I could afford £700,000 I'd almost certainly be able to afford an original 190E Evo, which I think I'd rather have.

I am glad they don't have to strip out an EVO to do this. It's a nice (and extremely pricey) way to rejuvenate any 190-series Benz.
