That is true. The CLR seems particularly suited to make artistic flights, i.e. loopings

That's not the GTR,it's CL-something..

It is the CLR.
A variant of the GTR (which won every single race it competed in, even making Porsche quit the serie by humiliation, but failed at Le Mans) designed specificly for Le Mans.

Incredibly aerodynamic... but it flipped over. Drivers not harmed.

Screw the Scuderia, there aren't many cars that will stand a chance against that machine.

The flipping can be fixed with aero tweaking. But this car will shame most cars.

The CLR actually didn't dominate anything. 99 Le Mans race was it's first and last race. It's predecessors - CLK GTR and CLK LM - of course dominated ALMS/FIA GT but never won Le Mans. But I still love the car for it's crazy design.

The CLR flip was all driver error. They used some no name drive who didn't amount to anything.
