lol, I bet the Scud didn't stand a chance. And it is probably the rarest MB - there is only 2 in existence.

The MB does have the tendency to flip in the air though.

...at least if you are a car, it seems fine for an airplane. :D

That is true. The CLR seems particularly suited to make artistic flights, i.e. loopings :D

Well Mercedes did make planes in the past, maybe they were being nostalgic? :D

lol, the face of the GTR looks so obnoxious. Its seems as if the hulk may have stepped on it.

It is the CLR.
A variant of the GTR (which won every single race it competed in, even making Porsche quit the serie by humiliation, but failed at Le Mans) designed specificly for Le Mans.

Incredibly aerodynamic... but it flipped over. Drivers not harmed.

Guess who decided to race them, while knowing there is a strong possibility that the car would make a looping in the air (because it did so during testings), possibly hurting/killing someone?

You got it.

Mr. Genius Schrempp...

I cant possibly think whats going through that drivers head when his car goes flying through the air, either hes shi"ing himself or some what finding the funny side of it:D

^Yeah, I have a hard time believing he was laughing his ass off when his car was doing flips through the air. :D

We may never know...

You must feel the nose starting to bounce after a certain speed, i'd certainly break if I felt it!

Flipping or not, this car didn't just dominate, it straight up beat the competition and then peed on them for fun. :D

Screw the Scuderia, there aren't many cars that will stand a chance against that machine.

Quite a lot of cars, particularly the ones that dont flip?:D

Unless it flips back onto it's wheels that is, impressive?

The CLR actually didn't dominate anything. 99 Le Mans race was it's first and last race. It's predecessors - CLK GTR and CLK LM - of course dominated ALMS/FIA GT but never won Le Mans. But I still love the car for it's crazy design.

It's from the same family of cars, and besides the bad debut, I highly doubt this car can't take on most road cars today.
