The Bugatti Mistral, also called the Bugatti W16 Mistral, is a mid-engine two-seater sports car manufactured in Molsheim, France, by French automobile manufacturer Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. Revealed on 19 August 2022, the Mistral is the fastest roadster in the world with a top speed achievement of 453.91 km/h (282 mph) in November 2024. All 99 units were pre-sold at a price of €5 million. This is in my opinion the finest looking Bugatti of all the Chiron based models, it is an absolute stunner

Apparently it's the last W16 car

My goodness. Didn't see this one coming. Must suck to be rich and still can't get one.

Still prefer the relative simplicity, the grille, and that near iconic C-line of the Chiron over this. At this strata, I don't care for directional spokes on wheels or how the rear BUGATTI badge is lit up. Shame really, as that's what's holding me back from pulling the trigger. ;)

I do like how they incorporated the elephant sculpture in the shifter crystal as well as the air intakes behind/above the headrests.

Basically if you want a convertible/roadster Chiron then this is your only choice.

Inflation sucks. This car is twice as expensive as its Veyrin equivalent, the Vitesse. €5m is alot.

Exposed carbon fiber paint scheme is a €400,000 option.

I should have married an oil shiek divorcee.

The filthy rich get more and more toys while the hard-working upper middle class just seem to be going backwards.
The great-to-drive cars are simply being pulled further out of reach in terms of ownership. It’s bemusing that supercar / hypercar buyers have a greater range of choice than mid-tier sports car buyers.

The average price of a new car sold in the USA is now 48K, an unbelievable amount. The area I live in has so many high end cars as to make them boring to look at now. No wonder used vehicles are in such high demand, as you need 60-100K+ to get a really nice new car now, in most segments. 30K doesn't buy much of anything anymore worth having.

Ferrari have announced they they will adjust prices for inflation in spring next year.

Basically a paint stripe down the lenght of your car will increase from $10,000 to 11,500.

Mindblowing.
Just what the Chiron was missing, a proper convertible/roadster.

Inflation sucks indeed, but don't think this has anything to do with that LOL
Also, it's important to remember that 5 million is NOT a lot if you have billions. It's just not. Almost pocket change.

Presumably exclusively open top?

Yeah this is it.
The last ICE Bugatti before they go full hybrid/Rimac

99 already sold.

99 x €5,000,000 = 495 million + another 25 million in options.

= €520,000,000

Mad. Kill the Jetta and Passat and produce more Bugattis.
