Bugatti-Pur-Sport-Touring-One-off-auction-teaser-1.jpg

"Bugatti and RM Sotheby’s have dropped a teaser on their respective social handles. The image doesn’t reveal much except for the fact that a one-off model will be auctioned just days ahead of Christmas.

The new one-off Bugatti will be unveiled on December 21, 2022, at what is likely to be a private event. Now, if you’re wondering what Bugatti means by “automotive solitaire”, you’ve come to the right place.

According to reliable sources, the one-off is actually based on the Chiron Pur Sport. As you’re aware, this is a track-focused version of the Chiron built to attack corners. The new one-off is a softer “Touring” style model and will feature a ducktail spoiler instead. It’s like what the GT3 Touring is to the standard 911 GT3.

Now, the technical details of the car are still unknown, however, we can expect the Touring Pur Sport to be powered by the same 8.0-liter, quad-turbo W16 engine developing 1500 hp and 1180 lb-ft."

Very interesting indeed! Looking forwards to it! Bugatti one off!🙂

Let me guess. a cancelled Pur Sport order that Bugatti will customise and sell for an additional few millions.

It's rear wingless for starters, very obviously I know but still completely different asethetic! Maybe the 1600hp "Thor W16" upgraded engine? Imagine that, incredible!

But probably "just", 1500hp we'll just have to make do LOL!

But cancelled order? No I very much doubt it.🙂

They haven't stated whether the auction will be for charity? That's usually vet tax efficient for billionaires when buying on auction or donating.

It's a great opportunity for someone to buy a one off Bugatti without having to be a loyal customer with a history of buying 2-3 of Bugattis.

So, another $10mill to go to Bugatti shareholders bank account. I don't think I know of another car that has so many versions and specs been sold that are each bespoke. Soon they will be selling a Lionel Ritchie version which automatically plays the song Dancing on the Ceiling when you drive through Rodeo drive in Beverly Hills lol

Well there's talk of Bugatti-Rimac float. Partial, I can't remember. But there's not any hypercar manufacturer that doesn't do it, to a degree, LOL!

It's definitely very nice. But you think that red steering wheel is too much?🤔
Red is the colour of excitement and sex. The silver and green scheme is sophisticated and classy but the red accent reminds the driver that the car is not a GT but the world’s fastest car.
