I don't know if it is the "third photo" but seeing the reflection of the light begins to confirm what I thought and that it is very well camouflaged and that is that the flared fenders will be "square" angular, following the new design philosophy, being innovative , radical and spectacular at the same time

Hopefully the details aren't too fugly. Perhaps when we see the whole package they will look better integrated. Black is always a good option if it needs it. I was thinking more like individual violet blue! It could be a long time before spec and I should have various examples to learn from before pulling the trigger on exterior color.

Great to learn that it’s fitted with a mechanical M-Performance LSD. IMO most people will assume that this is not the case and the car will be overlooked. Therefore BMW should stiffen the suspension a bit and just call it an 230Ti in order to make it’s purpose a bit clearer.

I think it will be a gem in the future because it’s pure RWD, has a mechanical LSD and because the lack of AWD, it will be cheaper and easier to modify.

What is "such cars"? RWD with mech LSD? Many manufacturers still do - Porsche, Ford, GM, Lotus, Jaguar, Lexus all still make them and I am sure I am missing quite a few. Heck, even Audi makes a RWD + LSD car in 2022.

Now if BMW offered a manual on the 2, you would have a point, but they don't at least yet, AFAIK.
