Halloween is supposed to be about pranks and candy, costumes and parties. But Halloween turned deadly for one Atlanta prankster this year. A 17-year-old was shot to death after egging a Mercedes-Benz.

The car, of unknown model, contained one Chuck Norris of a driver. After the car was covered in the chicken ova, the driver emerged in a fury, and shot the teen, identified at Tivarus King, in the neck and leg as he tried to run away.Accuracy wasn't the Mercedes drivers' strong suit, however, lobbing at least 10 shots at the kid to hit him twice. If only the teen's accuracy had been equivalent, he might still be walking and talking today.

Tragic, stupid, and unnecessary, the worst part of the whole incident is that police are still investigating whether it was King that threw the eggs. The driver was arrested on traffic charges unrelated to the shooting, though we expect a murder indictment is soon to be added to his list of documented idiocy.

I have 0 tolerance for someone who vandalizes others properties for no good reason. So it's hard for me to sympathize with the departed, aside from knowing that we all do stupid sh** in our lives, and many of us are fortunate to get away with them, and learn from them, to become better people.

Would really suck if it turned out that the kid wasn't the one who did it, horrifyingly sad really. Nothing is worse than being accused of something you didn't do, especially when it goes to these lengths. Majorly sad and wrong.

Either way, I can understand someone who would be so pissed at something like that happening, they want to kill someone, but the driver will certainly get what he as well deserves, as this is a matter one shouldn't take into their own hands.... To that extent especially.

That said, I've always said, if anyone f***ed up my car, I literally hope the worst to them, i.e I'd celebrate if I heard they got hit by a truck afterward. I just don't want to be the one doing the dirty work. :D

As you can see, I'm a big proponent of being a respectful, and respectable citizen, toward your fellow citizens.

Sad deal indeed. Some people take the machines way too serious. They simply don't deserve to own one! Nothing in this world, worth a life! :t-banghea

By the way, this kind of reaction is something a Bimmer owner won't do! He would just break some bones + teeth & let the kid go! :D

Sad story but some people simply lack respect for other peoples proprty or person. Problem is when two such people meet...

Property is a replaceable, worthless and ultimatively absolutely matterless piece of thing.
A life is... well the most sacred thing on earth, something unique and impossible to replace.

For someone to value his f***ing car more than a life... Well such a man deserves a very strong punishment to teach him the value of things.

This is sad and apalling.

That's excessive violence but not totally uncalled for. I have no sympathy for punks and scoundrels who invade someone else's property. Sure some of you might say "a car is just a car" but when someone steps on to your yard or break into your house, which is the most important place of comfort and shelter, they are making a critical invasion on your safety and security. Anyone who invade the sovereign state of my home, will feel the wrath of my blow torch, soon to be replaced by a plasma cutter.

This is true, however, some lives are worthless, and someone who goes around vandalizing others properties, is a worthless piece of crap to me. Also, someone who carries a gun around with them, and kills someone else for simply pissing them off, is also a worthless piece of crap.

Call it poetic justice? :D

Terrible story, I do feel for the family of the lost one but I'm pretty sure the offender wasn't a first time offender.

But as everyone is saying, it's just a piece of machinery. You may be right but its what you have to go through to get that pice of machinery. If youve worked hard all your life to acchive a dream and some little ass punk destroys that for you thats a different story.

Yeah, and who are you to judge the value of other peoples's life?

So someone stealing/destroying a thing of yours deserves to die, it means you think this is level with someone who kills another person? You feel it is appropriate to consider killing someone who keyed a car?

I've already seen my car scratched by someone else, in a parking. I wasn't especially pleased. But this is no big deal, man, just put f***in' paint on it and it's done!

Nobody's life is worthless, and I am not entitled to judge anyone.

One thing's for sure, nothing you can do to objects can justify to take a life. Nothing.

First of all, under know circumstance should he have shot the kid. Even if he tried to grab the kid and hold him until the police came, that would have been better. Yes, the guy should not have egged and I think that is extreme annoying, but he should not have killed him. It's not worth it!

The thing the guy didn't realize is that he can't even drive his Benz now because he will be in prison. So not only did he take the other guys life, he took his own. Real sad!

One thing's for sure, nothing you can do to objects can justify to take a life. Nothing.

Exactly! The only way it would have been justified is if it was self defense meaning the guy would have to had a gun on him as well.

It's the alarming responses to this thread that make my blood boil and relegates me to lurking around this website instead of being a more active member. But I have to re-state what some have already brought to the table.

Had that young man been a relative or your son, I think some of you would have different opinions. A car is a hunk of metal and plastic parts that will one day be worth nothing. A young person's life, taken too soon for a petty crime that he can't even be properly blamed for, is surely worth more than a car. While I agree that personal property shouldn't be tampered with in such a way, the proper way of going about things is not firing a weapon. This is just further proof that guns should be kept out of hands of people that a.) haven't got the skill to use them and b.) show no value for human life.

That is the end of my "liberal" rant.

Perhaps it is just because I'm more cynical, but I don't have a mindframe of "simply living makes your life irreplaceable". There are too many horrid human beings I've met in my life.

Keying a car shouldn't result in death, of course, however, if someone were to harm (or worse) myself, or anyone that I care about.... Or anyone else, for no good reason at all, they have worthless lives, aka, menaces to society. In our brief times on this earth, I don't feel we need to put up with those people, and I'd be more than happy for them to be eradicated from where I breath.

And if someone were to steal from me, or harm my possessions, I won't be dumb enough to do something about it, but I'd be happy to hear if someone else did (law would be ideal).

I'm just tired of people giving criminals the benefit of the doubt, or even, protection.

I'm no gun advocate, in fact, I hate them, and wish they were outlawed, however, California with its piss-ant treatment toward criminals, says that you cannot shoot someone who breaks into your house, unless they make the first move (with a deadly weapon at that). This is pathetic. If someone broke into my house, all I care about is protecting myself and my loved ones, if I have a gun on hand, I don't think I'd need to wait around to see if he's gonna kill someone before I can use it.

Interesting! Only thing is their first move could be your last. I know we had a guy in our area that took someone out with a sword. Person broke in and the guy let him have it.

Yup! Ridiculous isn't it?

Texas has it right. If someone breaks into your house, you should have every right to erase them instantly. I don't care if they're there to steal a bar of soap, you have no way of knowing, and your #1 priority is to protect yourself and your loved ones if you have any in the house (besides yourself :D).

Criminals can actually press charges in CA against you if you strike first. It is pathetic, and a big reason why I am such a strong proponent of criminals having no protection over the civilians they harm.

My Mom got her car keyed at a shopping center. This poor woman is getting hit by the financial crisis, had to move to another City to keep her cost of living down, was AT THE BANK trying to move some money over to another account to directly pay her rent (all this hassle so she could save like $10 a month), and some A$$HOLE keys her Lexus ES.

I don't care what anyone says, I'd pop a bottle of Champagne in celebration if I heard that that same a$$ got tortured to death.

DON'T FU** WITH OTHER PEOPLE!!!!
