Hennessey Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster

Hennessey Performance is an American hypercar maker & tuning icon since 1991. Home of the Venom F5, specialized in making fast cars faster. Official: Hennessey
They first had to build and deliver the cars to customers, and the F5 is a real commercial success for them.

The 300 MPH will arrive this year, but the question is who's going to do me first? Koenigsegg or Hennessey?

Well Jonathan if your going to go over 300MPH and go to all the time and trouble to get road space and all the rules and regulations checked etc, then you might as well push for a two way average of 500km/h so you beat Bugatti's 2019 Ehra-Lessien run.

I watched the video it was good and I think 300MPH is possible in the Hennessey Venom F5. And I like how he talks about rival manufacturers too, always rivals but respectful too.

So I'm (always have been) with them. We'll see.

It's funny how Mr. Hennessey thinks a 2-way pass will shut the haters down. There's many more angles to cover on the Hennessey Hater's List of Objections:
  • The VIN tag says it's a Lotus Elise.
  • Never made the 2-way pass.
    <-- YOU ARE HERE
  • It's not homologated (registered under Show or Display).
  • Well, it's not a true all-American supercar (co-developed in UK).
  • It's too single-purpose focused anyway.

Do the same for Bugatti and Koenigsegg.

Not familiar with the respective hater clubs of those brands to do that a justice. I genuinely can't tell what would be the go-to haterism angle there. They're more expensive??

Anyway here's the press release if anyone is interested.
smh, there's no mention of the aero addons. It's one thing to run a modded car, but to not disclose it and hope no one will notice is pretty shady behavior in my eyes.

It's the standard Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution. John's not stupid particularly after Kennedy Space Centre with the Hennessey Venom.

If your making claims that the cars modified over and above the standard car then your going to have to prove it. Just saying.

It's beaten the Czinger 21C and that's hardly production standard from memory.

Anyway at somepoint I'll look at the acceleration curves but I've not noticed anything untoward and they'll not be running at full potential.

This is a start.

It's all in the other thread, lol. Visual differences are very apparent. The horsepower bit I'm not really disputing. More like I'm curious about which engine map they used.
