Our daughter will be 10 months old the 11th of februari and she is getting to big for her type 0 maxi cosi car seat. That is why we are looking for a type I/II child seat (from 9 up to 18kg).
I have been searching and reading some test reviews and have a few models that are interesting. Most important for me is child safety, and in second place that the seat is easy to work with.
Here are some models that we find interesting:

Römer Duo Plus

Maxi Cosi Tobi

BéBéconfort Axiss (seat can be turned for easy acces, but should be less safe)

In my car I have an isofix system, in the mini (from '89) it will have to be attached with the seat belt. Any of you guys have experience with these seats or do you have other suggestions. Models have to be available on the European market as I live in Belgium. Most recent tests only have the new models and they don't compare them to models that were released in 2008/9.

I was goin to buy the BMW child seat in the Sauber F1 team design but since BMW quit F1 that is no longer an option.

Thanks very much in advance for your help and tips!

Yes indeed but unfortunately they don't score very high in crash tests... :eusa_doh:The name alone is epic :usa7uh:

Maybe you can also ask DaSilva for help. He also has a daughter in the same age as you (what I can remember)!
Like Naruto already wrote, this is a topic I have no idea about…absolutely nothing.
But here is another test result of the ADAC (edit: just noticed, that these are baby seats, so wrong type of seat you need - sorry)

Kindersitztest - Ergebnisstabelle

this one also get some good result:

In my opinion Römer seats are one of the first choice…they are not the cheapest, but I think, SAFETY is everything! :usa7uh:

Thanks for the opinions!

Yes i Think that for my car I will go for the Römer seat with isofix. It's just for my wife's car that I'm doubting, it's a 89 mini so not very safe, so I want the seat to be good. There's not much room in the car so the rotating one is convenient but it's a little to wide at the base to fit in the bucket seats... .
Could be I buy two Römer seats, cause it can be used without isofix as well. And as you indicate safety is more important than the price!!
