Help me choose!

Hi carfreaks.

For those who know me on this forum since years, already know my clean stylish A4, and know what I did to my last A3 to.

So, now I have bought a new A3, as you can read in the thread below this, and I also want a very clean styling on it. It's already lowered and has tinted windows, and xenons and all. I only missed some led taillights. And you know, that I always want to keep it as clean as possible, and thats why I was looking for LED taillights that were almost as the original Audi ones. Well, I found ones that were almost the same, but their shape was a little different. They are not in linear form, but have a little up-going form. I love the way they function, but I'm unsure about if they really fit the car. I dont want it to look like some japanese-sh*t you know? And the original facelift taillights are very stylish. So, my question.

Go back to the original facelift taillights?
Or, keep the new LED taillights?

IMHO, those led ones look too aftermarket, don't really suit the car. I too would love some fresher looking leds on this car but if I was you I would keep looking, ofc the car doesn't look at bad with the original ones either..
On the other hand maybe a spoiler would suit the car, would make quite a difference to the rear. Nice car BTW

Already ordered the S3 spoiler

What buggs me is the shape of the lights. They should have done, as they did with the A4 ones, that I have on my A4. Same shape as the originals, but LED:

Aftermarket LEDs can be nice, but the ones in the pic above are crazy horrible looking!! Isn't there any aftermarket LED stuff that looks just like the original, only in LED tech?

Edit; like your A4 I mean. The LEDs on your A4 are aftermarket but nice...

Unfortunately not... And that sucks.
The ones I have on the A3 now, are from the same company that made my A4 ones....

Keep it original. I don't like those LED ones, too aftermarket and cheap-looking. And the standard FL ones are very nice, very clean.

So my feelings were right. It was not only me who thought it was something wrong with the LEDs. If it just werent for there up-shape, they would fit perfectly.

Down to the garage and change them now. I'll snap a pic.
