What a day! Too many things have to been done today. Almost no time going through messages. I really wonder how one can live a happy life. Without this job, I might sleep in the forest.

She sighed deeply, staring out of the office window at the bustling city below. The gray clouds mirrored her mood, heavy with the promise of rain. The thought of escaping into the wilderness, where the only deadlines were the setting sun and the call of the owls, was tempting. But that was just a dream, a fleeting fantasy.
Her phone buzzed again, snapping her back to reality. Another email, another task, another thing to do. She rubbed her temples, trying to ward off the headache that was steadily building. Maybe, just maybe, there was more to life than this endless cycle of work and exhaustion. But how could she ever find out?
The idea of the forest lingered in her mind like a stubborn shadow. What would it be like to leave everything behind and just… disappear? No emails, no meetings, no stress. Just the rustle of leaves and the whisper of the wind. But the fear of the unknown kept her grounded, rooted in the life she had built, even if it wasn't the life she truly wanted.
As the rain began to patter against the glass, she made a decision. Tonight, she would take a walk in the park. It wasn't the forest, but it was a start—a small step towards reclaiming a piece of herself that had been lost in the noise of everyday life.
