I never knew this site was only a year old! I joined recently, but thought it muyst have been running for years. It's so well established- down to good management I suppose! Great Job!

Look at Rob's first post, he made it not today, but almost a year ago: this site is celebrating the beginning of it's 3rd year now!!!

And it's so well established because this site started off as a save haven for old-school germancarforum.com forum posters, when they decided to shut the forums down over there

Well, most of us were members in the GermanCarFans Forums, so we already knew each other quite well when GCF started. I joined GCF soon after I had joined TCF. So when I knew TCF was going to "die", I still wanted see you around and invited you to join us.

NSL has done a spectacular job with GCF! And so have our brilliant Mods!

First of all, I would like to thank every member of the GCF, especially the mods, for doing such a great job! I've been a member in other car forums too, but the GCF seems to be the best place not only for die-hard german car enthusiasts, but also for any car lover who respects his car more than anything in this world. Those 7 months I have been a member, I have learned a lot and hopefully, I'm going to learn even more. Happy Birthday GCF!
