Any idea what it could be? Turbo Speedster perhaps or a Targa?

That fender upswing makes me think of the road going Kremer K3.

They're probably going for some sort of future-retro take on the "Mary Stuart" RSR.

I just hope hinting "future" doesn't mean it's an EV.
That would be a great next step for them, in a way a rival to the Singer DLS-T. I don’t think they’d go EV since it doesn’t fit with their ethos.

Soon air cooled original 911s will be rarer than these "remastered/reimagined" thingys.

I am going to start a "Leave 911s alone" movement.
Totally agree, just leave the classic 911 alone.

With these extreme "resto-mods" Exactly how much of the original car is used, or left behind? Do they leave just enough to market it as a Porsche ?

To be fair, they built 25 coupes and 25 speedsters and 75 turbos. It’s not like they’re building thousands.

Singer in comparison has built/will build about 450 of the Classic Study, and the same for the Turbo Study. About 75 DLSs and a “limited” production for the DLS-T.

Also apparently Singer has been sued by Porsche NA over trademark, hopefully they come to a settlement of some sort, would hate for Singer to stop what they’re doing.

I think in the end both Singer and Guntherwerks will take the RUF route and build their own chassis and make cars in the “vein and spirit” of classic 911s.

Good point about the numbers. But you have to also account for, every official Singer/Gunter there are probably 10 mishmash garage jobs to bank in on the popularity of these restomods. I have seen so many Type Gs modified to look like long hoods just to be listed on BAT since Singer became popular.

Hopefully.

Is GWR the name of the new model? Going to be interesting to see!
Good question, truly don't know about the name but the car will be show at The Quail (Pebble Beach) and it will be high rev NA engine.
