bum man is right on this one. Audi interiors are the finest in all of the automotive industry w/ out question. Maybe the appearence isn't to your liking, but as far as fit and finish.... Audi is bar none.
ye i just don't like the appearnce..and the fact that so many components are the same and have the same cheap feel of VW components...like the keys..sunroof dial...audio bttons...window buttons...seat buttons..etc...exterior wise they rust more easily

i gotta agree here allthough quality is gr8.. i dont find audi interior visually appealing..
i like the S8 interior though..

Yeh dude, the S8 int. is more like a tailor made suit. The S6 int. is just oridinaryl, low budget Audi.

lol low budget.. i wouldnt call it that.. but still dosent appeal to me..

the seats are cool, those I do like. Will probably be the same seats in the RS6, I can't see them using the RS4 Recaros in that car.

in the RS6?? wouldnt surprise me really.. it sounds like they really want the RS cars to be hardcore.. maybe thats why they make the S ones

haha, S cars are more like punching bags, or lab rats. RS cars are... well... hardcore. :usa7uh: Paitently waiting, and we'd better not be let down :usa7uh:

it wont let you down belive me.. but you might be in for a long wait..

Hey would you rather have this car or the e39 M5??

E39 M5 w/ out question. Though I wait for the C6 RS6 w/ great anticipation, I think I still might rather have an E60 M5, because of the sheer excietement and invidividualized performance... it's like nothing else(as has been my expereince w/ all BMW's), all Audi's I have driven have been nothing more than smooth and comftarble rides, not masters of driving dynamics. Let me repeat for the defensive ones out there: that is my experience.

M5 without a doubt...in its time that car was somewhat of a GOD...as all ///M5 have been when they are released... they just set a standard...let everyone catch up and destroy them again...I would take the e39 ///M5 over a e55 AMG even...and the S55...i know thats pushing it but i have driven an sl55 (have not driven an ///m5) and i can say that there is no way that those cars drive better than that car and i would rather drive a BMW over it...
PS...i would still take an sl55 over an e39 M5 cause that car is just way too sliiiiiiiick

ya...whenever I'm coming home from hockey in a BMW you always want to come home the long way and if you get lost in the ccountry roads it don't matter cause your in a BMW...I have never felt that in any other type of car(that i have driven). In the summer i took my aunts car (an A6) to detroit and drove over 1000km in it and didn't like it one bit...

In a BMW you seek out twisty roads to just push your car to the limit. I have never done that in any other brand (bar porsche). I have never been in a car that can take a turn so fast and so flat as a BMW.

so us three have settled it...BMW RULES ALL...so don't waste your money on an S6 get any ol' bimmer with a sport package...throw it in a corner and feel your spine tingle...porsche is another story...thats one car i crave to drive..haven't been fortunate enough yet... but i think BMW has my heart won over :worshbmw:

I for one think the avant looks very nice.

And all this talk about the S models being unecessary is rediculous, both BMW and MB have 4 or 5 variants of the same car (525i, 525xi, 530i, 530xi, 550i and then of course the M5) so why cant Audi have an A6 3.2, A6 4.2, S6, and then RS 6. IMO The S6 is a just another step up in the line because not evrybody is going to be able to purchase an RS 6, so they can get an S6 which may not bet as good performance wise as an RS 6 it is still better than a 4.2.

It's because the S6 doesn't fulfill on the promise/idea of what it is suppose to be, and the competiton outpaces it by a large margin.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
