M5 Got the new M5

Congratulation. Yes. Shadow chrome would give the car a bit of pop. Now it looks a bit too black. Have you driven it in e-mode much? Do You plan to charge it?

Ty buddy, can’t wait to truly experience it. For now I grab these keys over the amg gt’s. Surprisingly comfortable but at the same time brutally fast in my m1 mode with comfort chassis setting. Fake sound is always off. Feels great to have that best of both worlds” quality. Cruise around town and let it rip on the highway without the drama and attention I get in the gt.

True about E-mode. Handy if you have been too lazy to fuel up but know that you can always plug it in and get enough range to reach a petrol station.

You can always drive with black wheel and then change to a different colour or vice versa. Enjoy both! It’s impressive how well received the M5 has been. It’s a good deal. Lots of standard equipment, hybrid but also have a V8. Other options with similar specs are almost twice the money.

because it is a little more on the bold side compared to the previous generation, celebrating the fact that it breaks the 700hp barrier.
It would be great if you could give a quick review of your M5s driving experience at your convenience.

Will add more photos with my write- up. In the past I would use clear bras etc but I have not got around to doing anything lately. The gt probably deserves some basic front end paint protection, it’s just a work of art. The m5 is black so that would make it a good candidate for some as well. I need to install the remote controlled front license plate holders on both.

Been amazing , cruiser that you can push and have fun with. A lot of positive comments from the public esp younger folk regarding looks etc. It’s surprisingly comfortable, absorbs potholes better than expected.
Annoyances,
Siri not working with Apple play
I would have liked an option a la mb to change the graphics on the speedo to a more classic look
Not much in the way of negativity to speak of luw

I have such a soft spot for U.S spec Bimmers. They look so much better over there somehow. Lack of a license plate really helps with that.
Only thing I do not like are the black rims, but that's definitely a personal thingy.

Yes buddy. The m5 is so easy and fun to drive that I tend to grab its keys first. Also less attention grabbing but I’m getting a lot more looks and compliments than I expected. One “rolling work of art” comment as well. Still have not pushed the car though it’s winter here.

Thank you klier. I had a 98 e36 m3 and a 02 e46 both stick. Thoroughly different car but it somehow still gives me a feel that I’m in the lineage. Love the simple vibration and feedback through the steering wheel, lovely bmw trait.
