Hot! Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024

^ That looks insane (ly horrible)

But had it actually emerged into the public eye in the mid-1930s, it may have generated a positive, exciting "buzz". Elements of the eras Tatras, Bugattis, Talbot Lagos, Chrysler Airflows being blended into something that was exotic for the times and , if anything, looked pretty darned rapid. "Weird" may have been "cool".

Bugatti originally decided to bring the Tourbillon to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, but now they have probably changed their the plan.

BTW, I tuned in briefly in the morning and was amused by the car slotting order where it was something like MC20, Aston Martin Victor, MC20, some other Aston Martin, MC20 Cielo... And the camera always skipped the Astons. It was three MC20s in a row. Hilarious and boring at the same time.

That's how it usually is. They show some cars, then another day they show some other ones. Admittedly, there is not enough time to show every single car properly, so you sort of have to parse it together from different days. IF you can be bothered, that is... Which I am increasingly not, unless it's a car I am really interested in. Plus it's constant ads, and then the whole event now seems like a one giant advertising event for the auto industry - which means an unending stream of marketing bollocks being repeated. Just watching the VODs is the way to go.

Yeah, skipping the boring stuff in the VOD is the way to go. It was just funny to me, because I literally launched the app and the first thing I see is the MC20 train :D

4 electric motors, none of which wanted to play team. Makes its Ring time all the more remarkable; it’s a miracle it got round at all.

I've never really thought about it, but that's actually pretty scary. All has to be in sync at all times otherwise wild things happen like instantly.
