Prior to the release of the R8 I would have said angel eyes anytime, but OMG, the LED's look absolutely orgasmic on the modern Audi's! Hands down the Audi LEDs.
I think I am starting to agree with the Audis now... Every time I see an A5 with their LEDs on, it amazes me. I agree with Tumbo, the new angel eyes/aurora lights or whatever they are called don't look so special anymore, because of the DRL function. The inner ones look too bright in my opinion, so it's more difficult to see the actual circles as opposed to the angels eyes you would see on the old 5er for example:
I do love angel eyes, they look great, but I've been more disappointed lately. Maybe I am exaggerating though...
Now thanx for the pic. This was the angle I was trying to fing. This is what I'm talking about. They do not look as good as they used too..
To me, this is soooo much better:

"Amazing"..."everybody drooling"...these are all the hallmark words of a fanboy. You BMW fanboys crack me up
...THEY DO NOT LOOK THE SAME as good old E46 and E39!!
And R8 and christmas lights?? Haha, okay then. This must be the cause why everybody is droolin' when they see it on the streets. Cause they think its a christmas tree....
C'mon!![]()
You BMW fanboys crack me up![]()

You crack me up too![]()
As stated before there are ways to improve the sharpness of the rings. Like I said I saw previous generation X5 yesterday and the lights are no different from today.
Tell me, what is the difference here?
3er E90 (Bangle)
5er E39 and 5er E60 (Bangle)
When I look at the pics the rings look exactly the same, only difference its that the inner light is smaller. Other than that rings are staying the same.
difference is that in the new angel eye, the inner one is smaller.
which I clearly said in my post you just quoted.
