Unlike the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante 2012, the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante 2013 is functional and will be produced in limited quantity. It is based on the Alfa Romeo 8C.

This car better be absolutely amazing to justify sacrificing the 8C for it.

FIAT (Ferrari/Maserati/Alfa Romeo) need to build an FMR chassis on which many different cars can be built. There are so many one-off italian cars being built these last years, all using the GranTurismo chassis (except for Ferrari). But what about a CF chassis for next California/GT/8C?

Simply lovely. That's the kind of style that a 21st century Alfa Romeo ought to portray. The 4C is great too...
