G-wagen is a dream car for many & I'm mad of it. Its the only car I really wanted to own. Atlast I've bought one a couple of months back by Almighty's grace, a 1985 300GD. Its after a long waiting of more than three years I got one. Even though India is 2nd is population the number of G-wagen in the sub continent is very few, may be 10-15. And those who own it never sell. But by God's grace I got one. Now I'm planning to make it up, hence I need some spare parts for the same. As you all can understand in a place where the model is very rare, its hard to find its spares too. So I decided to look for it abroad. Can you please help me out the right track to search for the spares & accoseries in cheap for my dream machine.

I love the G too. It's funny, my parents once owned the very same as you: a 300GD, long-wheelbase, in white. I loved it... Not very fast, but really a joy to drive it. Surprisingly easy to drive, with the power-steering, very comfortable, and above all it's a car you really can trust.

However, the one of my parents was very rusty underneath, so they sold it quickly...what I regreat.

For the spares and accessories, I don't know, maybe on specialised G-forums? That said, a G-Wagen never needs spares...:D

Thank you for the information Dude.
