But they're not yours.
That doesn't matter, BMWBlog is using them for press purposes which BMW grant the right to do.

You don't have to be press to have a press account. So you can utilise the downloads any way which you want. It's the same pictures used over and over press and the company. They are not mutually exclusive to one site or the other as they are universal.
My Grand children download some of the high resolution pictures from my account and post them on thei...

Can we end the discussion about those press photos? bmwblog is a cool site, if you want a collection of some latest news about BMW.
bmwblog decided to put its own brand on BMW press photos, to make its own brand even more visible. Something, which almost all commercial websites try to do one or the other way round.
Basically I don't care and therefore...
You cannot use the downloads anyway you want. The copyright belongs to BMW and they grant permission to use it for press purposes (press purposes as per local legal authority definition).
I can name you 2 examples: the F30 3 Series and the 991 Porsche 911. When both cars were released, the media was gushing with praise for both cars given their recent conversion to electric steering. I remember reading a review performed by Autocar where they gave the F30 3 Series 5-stars during its launch; praising it's steering. I remember the...
It's not for adding fuel to the fire, but my only problem with the site is this Nico de Mattia who again now in reference to the M8 in his BMWblog editorial cites:
«"The BMW M8 takes on the Aston DBS simply because they’re both big, very powerful, very fast performance machines
Can the cheaper BMW compare with prestigious Aston in terms of styling?

I keep asking myself why someone who does not like BMW`s writes for a site called bmwblog?
That doesn't matter, BMWBlog is using them for press purposes which BMW grant the right to do.
Here I can not agree with you. BMWBlog are proud that they share only proofed facts and they do not deal with speculations. So using such a tribune to express someone's personal oppinion should mean that he is either a trusted expert or has intetnal information that the normal readers do not have. This opinion is worth nothing more than the opinion of any of the million readers. Posting it, without a discussion, turns it into some kind of fact.but if he doesn't like the look of some of the current models I'm not going to take issue with it.
I also think that there is some kind of provocation included. Here we don't speak for objectivity, but purposefully included negativity for some reason. Maybe they are trying to look not so biased towards BMW.

Being objective with a subjective opinion. Interesting. It's called being objective, even though design is subjective.
The problem is not the criticism, the problem is that a subjective opinion is being called objective. Everybody has the right to have an opinion and to express it. And forums are a perfect place for expressing subjective opinions. But a site that is claiming that does not deal with speculations and are publicating only facts (just check all the polemics with Scott27) should expressively point when an opinion is subjective and in no way call it objective. They are not the authority to turn a subjective opinion into objective, it still remains subjective. I posted six months ago a sentence of an article in BMWBlog in which ""objectively" the M3/4 was called inferior in general to RS4/5 and C63 because it doesn't have an AWD. But the C63 doesn't have also, and calling an AUDI , which has 200 kg more on the front axle supperior is not an objectivity but pure nonsense. In a time when the internet and social media are pupulated by either @ss kissers or haters, having a BMW fan site that some times critisizes whatever is that BMW is doing is perfectly fine.
Sad thing is people has these "high standards" regaring news and journalism in other, more serious, aspects of life, so there is no way some left/right people tollerat...
