That contributes absolutely nothing to the discussion other than to suggest people are being picky because they're not gushing with praise. @manuelf agrees with you about the engine, yet he's actually responding with intelligent counterpoints and backs up his opinions with valid reasoning. He explains why he thinks the way he does. I don't have to agree with him, but I certainly appreciate hearing his opinions, and I also recognise it increases the quality of the content on this forum. I've even learned something reading some people's posts on here over the years, especially Sunny, Matski and Martin.

I agree, but that doesn't make the engine itself "new" does it, especially when it's been available on two other BMWs for over a year.

You have not said anything positive about the car, it is the first time I see that you at least like the colors, great!

Until I see the car for real, how can I make a proper judgement? I HAVE seen the M440i in real life and I wasn't impressed at all, BUT, because I like to keep an open mind, I'm going to reserve judgement until I see an M4 in real life. I've also said I don't find the grill a proplem (the bigger problem with the coupe is the rear 3/4), and I've also said two weeks ago that I'm planning on BUYING an M3. You can't get a bigger endorsement than actually putting my hands in my pocket!

I'd very much like to discuss the M3/M4, but I do have the right to respond to dalab when he's making digs at being negative. I'd be happy for these posts to be moved to the "Fight Club" section.

Speaking of other sections. Perhaps we need a "safe space" for fans of ANY brand with a nervous disposition, where they can retreat to when things get a bit 'critical' in the main forum.

My position is clear from three pages ago, to say that it is not a new engine for the M3, M4 is false, since it is not the engine that they had previously and it was designed specifically for this line of models, the engine for the M8 is not It is the M6, but if it shares it with the M5 that came out before, making more engines is absurd, do not keep saying that I do not support what I say, you do not agree with that and that is your business and if there are more people in Disagreement is their business, I don't agree with you, so don't tell me what to think.
