After seeing The Number 23 I saw previews of two movies which I am dying to see, those two are Vacancy and Fracture. How about you guys ? Any forthcoming movie(s) spark your interest ?

Vacancy
Staring - Luke Wilson & Kate Beckinsale

I suppose I'm looped, you've all caught the number one reason I want to see this movie ;) :D However, I am interested to see Kate in a more serious role where she can display more of her acting talents. Aside from that, always liked Luke Wilson as an actor.

The story looks pretty cool too, maybe reminiscent of previous films, but still.. :usa7uh: Planned release is in April and I can't wait!

Fracture
Staring - Anthony Hopkins & Ryan Gosling

This movie looks highly interesting. Hannibal copy ? Perhaps so, but with the recipe of Hopkins (who is obviously an amazing actor) and Ryan Gosling (who is also fantastic) this movie has the potentional to be pretty kick ass.

OT from the above movies, but if you like Ryan Gosling check out Stay. It's seriously one of the best movies ever.. (average rating, only 6.8 :t-hands: )

Please 7.3 AMG tell me, was The Number 23 worth watching? I'm asking because I really want to watch that movie, but my brother thinks it's a stupid idea since Jim Carrey is staring in it. He believes that Carrey just doesn't fit in a thriller.

Here's what I said in this thread:

Number 23
8/10 - Always have been a Jim Carrey fan, so I wanted to see if he could recreate his serious acting he played out in Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind (I think that's the name..) His acting in Number 23 was great, although I'd still place it behind his performance in Eternal Sunshine

Overall, I enjoyed the movie.

Thinking it over, I think i'd drop the score to 7.5 out of 10. Still an entertaining movie though. Perhaps not the most evocative story.
