I would not be surprissing if MB ends up again as an engine supplier. They have removed all trace of their branfing of the car, now using the AMG one, and have sold an important stake to a third party.

The star is still on the nose, its nothing more than pushing the AMG brand which is very lucrative for Mercedes

If you combine that with the fact that MB has sold a good stake of the team, and the rumors about them turning back to the supplier status, it all would make sense.

Yes, Sebs' publicized agendas are restricted to what is relevant as a racing driver and the massively important role that wife and children (3) occupy in his life. He's rarely vocal regarding his viewpoint on sociopolitical issues.
