Well, it does here , about 4400 € less than 320d but when I said price I was thinking about the non-premium cars in this test. What I think they've done is chosen the smallest diesel versions from Audi, BMW and Mercedes and put them against the top mid-size/large family cars. 318d is price-wise better suited in this test against Passat, Mondeo and Laguna.
