SLS (C197) First Pictures: 2012 SLS AMG Roadster

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (C197/R197) is a front mid-engine, 2-seater, limited production sports car developed by the Mercedes-AMG division of Mercedes-Benz. It is the successor to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. SLS stands for "Super Leicht Sport" (Super Light Sport). Body styles: C197 coupé, and R197 roadster (sooft top convertible). Production: January 2010–2014. Model years: 2010–2015.
I know everyone has been saying it...but damn! The roadster version is just off the freaking hook nice! The coupe is great, but the roadster is just one of the best looking MB models I have ever seen.
Reminds me of the Z8, too.
 
Don't you just laugh at the folly of going to all the trouble to tape up the badges on the bonnet and bootlid and even going so far as covering up the Mercedes Benz inscriptions on the brake calipers? But then you leave that great big fukken three-pointed star badge on the front grille completely uncovered!!! :D :D :D

the car is fantastic, but those photos are terrible and boring.
