:D - No, I don't think any one of us would ever do anything like that....This just turned out to be a light, refreshing and fun deviation from the usual

I understand...in addition to the school Swedish, I did make sure that I knew a few other key words in Swedish as well, that they would not teach at school....That turned out to be very handy one time in the summer of 1968 when I spent a month in the village of Lövö on the island of Vårdö in Åland for the purpose of learning Swedish. The house I stayed at had relations in Stockholm, and three girls: Ingrid (17), Anita (15) and Kerstin (13) came there to spend time with their cousin at the same time. One of the reasons why I consider the summer of 1968 to be phase 2 of the "summer of love (1967)". Anyhow....bottom line: good to know a bit more than what they teach at schools regarding languages...

And, I am impressed by your command of some of the Finnish words:usa7uh:
 
I see what you mean... Will need to learn some more Finnish if I were to visit:D
